LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan and the Ikhwanul Muslimoon (Muslim Brotherhood) of Egypt have decided to make joint efforts to promote Islam and find solutions to issues faced by Muslims.
The top leadership of the two parties met at the Ikhwanul Muslimoon headquarters in Cairo on Wednesday.
Both the parties also decided to strengthen the relations between the Islamic movements in different countries and to negate propaganda against Islam.
A three member JI delegation led by party chief, Syed Munawar Hasan is currently on a four-day visit to Egypt at the invitation of Ikhwanul Muslimoon chief Dr Muhammad Badei.
Formal talks between the two sides were held between Hasan, Secretary General Liaquat Baloch and Foreign Affairs chief Abdul Ghaffar Aziz and Dr Badei, Secretary General Dr Mehmudul Hasan and other central leaders.
The two sides held detailed discussions and underscored the need for closer ties between Islamic movements all over the world.
Hasan congratulated the Ikhwanul Muslimoon leadership and Egyptian people on the successful revolution in their country. He also paid homage to the martyrs of the Tehrir Square and welcomed the recognition of the Ikhwanul Muslimoon’s legal status.

Oh, Great. This hot on the heels of the Egyptian Ikhwaani leader floating the idea of MB becoming a global, single political party… although this would automatically render them an illegal organisation in Egypt, where the law states that political parties may not have foreign, non-Egyptian members.

Hasan, I watched that video and could get about 80% of it. Disgusting. When the interviewer says that women accusing men of rape are locked up for zina (adultery) if they can’t get 4 witnesses and this is injustice the Mullah says in effect ‘what’s the problem, that’s right’. Then the Mullah goes on to question the interviewers Muslimness, again almost a death threat to which the interviewer offers his full on commitment to Islam in reciting all kinds of verses and pledging his love and and commitment to it.
It is the commitment to barbaric Quranic laws that is the problem of course but no-one could say such in Pakistan without being wajib-ul-qatl.

MARDAN, June 22: The local police on Wednesday arrested five of the 14 accused who stoned and shot a woman to death in Bairoch village here on Tuesday.
Police said that they had been conducting raids for the arrest of the remaining accused, including Mohammad Saeed, husband of the victim Shazia.
Rustam police station SHO Shah Mumtaz Khan said that according to the postmortem report, the victim received several injuries on her head, face and other parts of body.
It was learnt that sometime back Saeed had killed his own brother on suspicion of having illicit relations with Shazia.
A resident of the area, who requested anonymity, said that Shazia, 23, had received injuries in that occurrence following which she had left her husband`s home and started living with her mother, Noor Jehan. Sources said that Saeed had been required to police in the murder of his brother.
According to preliminary investigation, the SHO said that Shazia, a resident of Barikot in Swat district, had entered into a love marriage with Saeed of Bairoch village six months ago.
He said that according to their information Shazia had left her husband`s house after some domestic dispute and was residing with her mother, who is complainant in the present case

Volume 8, Book 82, Number 842:
Narrated Abu Huraira and Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani:
A man came to the Prophet and said, “I beseech you to judge us according to Allah’s Laws.” Then his opponent who was wiser than he, got up and said, “He has spoken the truth. So judge us according to Allah’s Laws and please allow me (to speak), O Allah’s Apostle.” The Prophet said, “Speak.” He said, “My son was a laborer for the family of this man and he committed illegal sexual intercourse with his wife, and I gave one-hundred sheep and a slave as a ransom (for my son), but I asked the religious learned people (regarding this case), and they informed me that my son should be flogged one-hundred stripes, and be exiled for one year, and the wife of this man should be stoned (to death).”The Prophet said, “By Him in Whose Hand my soul is, I will Judge you (in this case) according to Allah’s Laws. The one-hundred (sheep) and the slave shall be returned to you and your son shall be flogged one-hundred stripes and be exiled for one year. And O Unais! Go in the morning to the wife of this man and ask her, and if she confesses, stone her to death.” She confessed and he stoned her to death.
