Michael,

I think it would be safe to conclude that Abdullah's reading list would be entirely judenfrei.

Abdullah is also a self-proclaimed expert on contemporary former Soviet Central Asian affairs, it seems. So we need to be careful, we are in the presence of a giant of modern historical research.

abdullah,

My major source is Mark J. Gasioriowski. I have also used his book co-edited by Malcolm Byrne. These are leading scholars on the subject of the coup. I have no idea if they are Zionist or anti-Zionist. What makes you so sure they are Zionist?

You will note that other sources I have used include Nikki Keddie and Homa Katouzian. These authors are world renowned for their work on Iran. Yet again I have no idea what their opinions are on Israel. I used their books as they are highly regarded by those at Oxford University who specialise in Iran.

I have used Stephen Kinzer's book as a source for factual information. While I am no fan of some of his conclusions, the preface to the 2008 edition of his book that I have used is fifteen pages long and is entitled "The Folly of Attacking Iran." I do not know what his opinions are on Israel, but he presents a highly critical view of the consequences of the actions of the CIA in 1953 in Iran.

If you are so opposed to the sources that I have used for this article, what sources would you suggest?

Abu Faris

I continue to be very impressed both by Michael’s commitment to a careful, erudite enquiry of events, together with his equal commitment to balance and a recognition of the complexity of things in making judgements.

This is a really fine piece of work and a great contribution to a better understanding of the modern history of Iran.

Many thanks, Michael.

Hahaha- a zionist quoting exclusively zionist sources is commited to balance.
Well what do we expect from Abu "Front Page magazine" Faris?
