A very good article, Abu Faris, and very enlightening. I recently wrote on al-Zindani in relation to al-Awlaki teaching at his Al Iman University in Sanaa.

I was aware of Zindani’s connections to terrorism – he reputedly ordered the USS Cole attack in the Gulf of Aden – but I was not aware of his links to Mullah Krekar’s Ansar al-Islam, nor was I aware that he was involved in the Yemeni Muslim Brotherhood.

Congratulations on a superb piece. And Faisal is right. Good to see you now having a home for your education, observations and insights.
