Apparently the Mufti believed there was a secret Jewish conspiracy to steal his land

You zionists are such hypocrites.Even leaving aside their genocide of the native Palestinian Arab population , the Israelis have regularly collaborated with genocidal anti-Muslim regimes. They sold weapons to the Serbs to commit genocide against the Bosnian Muslims and had very close relations wth the BJP Hinduvata regime in India which committed genocide, mass rape and annihilation of the cultural heritage of Gujurats Muslim. Not to mention there support for Apartheid South Africa (well…. birds of a feather)

But when one Palestinian does the same on the basis of “the enemy of my enemy..” all hell breaks lose

    Bleh,

I rarely swear – at least in public – but I must say you are one unconscionable twat.

I am a Muslim. I was born in the UK and am not Palestinian, so to be honest, I very rarely think about Palestine. I reckon it is of much more import to those of Palestininan/Arab backgrounds than to me.

I have news for you Anis, most Arabs are born Muslim, and they rarely have the time or inclination to think about Palestine either. Most feel that the Palestinians are led by criminals and liars and have let themselves down badly time after time.

People are fed up of the whole thing, to be frank and just wish that the Palestinians would find some way of living in peace with their neighbours, Jewish or not.

You may have heard about the less than friendly reception the so-called Viva Gaza convoy received in many Arab states, especially Egypt. What people in UK do not realise is that your average Arab is sick and tired of the Palestinians and their interminable strife.

Most Arabs know the Palestinians have been treated badly sometimes – but are at a loss to understand why the Palestinians do not seem to want peace; and why it is always someone else’s fault. People are fed up with the whole I/P thing – it is holding back the entire region and the Palestinians are at least in part to blame.

Arabs may jump and down and shout parrot-fashion nasty things about Zionism and Israel at state-sponsored demonstrations, they may harbour nasty cultural attitudes towards Jews – but I assure you most are not that keen on Palestinians either.

I agree with every word you have said. I thank you for your candour.

The Mufti wasn’t alone in trying to form an alliance with Hitler against the British. A 1941 document from the Stern faction of the Irgun Zvai Leumi (National Military Organization) made the following proposals to the Nazis:

“The National Military Organization, being aware of the positive approach of the Reich’s government to Zionist activity inside Germany, and to the Zionist emigration plans, believes that:

“1. A common interest is possible between the establishment of a new order in Europe according to the German conception, and the national aspirations of the Jewish people, as expressed by the National Military Organization.

“2. Cooperation is possible in the future between the New Germany and
    a New Hebrew National Entity.

“3. The establishment of the historical Jewish state on a national and totalitarian basis, which will maintain contacts with the German Reich, is a German interest, for strengthening and protecting the German power posts which will be established in the near future in the Near East.

“Based on these points, and under the condition that the government of the German Reich recognize the national claims mentioned above, the National Military Organization offers to take an active part in the war on the side of Germany.”

    More whataboutery.

The Stern Gang may have attempted collaboration, the Mufti achieved full collaboration – and not just collaboration, but complete accord with Nazi ideals and aims.

As did, of course, al-Ikkwaan (MB), whose members sometimes acted as spies for the Nazis in British-occupied Egypt during World War II.
