Hizb-ut Tahrir (HT) Britain, a global Islamist revolutionary group calling for the establishment of an Islamic state (Khilafah), has recently issued a press statement titled ‘Brown welcomes the butcher of Buner to Downing Street’ – denouncing Pakistani President Zardari’s visit to the UK. Taji Mustafa HT Britain’s media representative said:
“The whole reason why the British, American and other Western governments sponsor brutal tyrants such as Zardari is because they fear the growing call in the Muslim lands such as Pakistan for Islam and the re-establishment of the Khilafah. Their strategy revolves around the simple objective of preventing Muslims from controlling their own political destiny…”
“The Muslim community in Britain condemns the support given by the British government for this massacre in Swat and demands its immediate end. The Muslims in Pakistan do not face a threat from the Shariah. The real threat they face is from the continued Western interference which has presided over the destruction and eventual division of Iraq and has now turned its sights to Pakistan in the name of its global offensive against all Islamic revival. God willing the revival of the Khilafah will bring such bloodshed to an end and consign the likes of Zardari to the dustbin of history.”
It is perfectly legitimate to be concerned about civilian casualties and the displacement of nearly one million people when the government finally started fighting the Taliban in Swat. Those concerned can and have the right to ask the government to be more responsible, even protest if they so wish.
But why doesn’t (HT) protest about the gross and systematic human rights abuses consistently committed by the Taliban, the real butchers of Buner, in Afghanistan and Pakistan? Because it supports, in principle, the Taliban’s ‘revival’ of a fictitious Islamic state governed by Islamic law – the two Islamist groups only differ in tactics on how this is best achieved. For HT to ague that Muslims in Pakistan do not face a threat from the Taliban’s ‘Shariah’ law, and that the actions of the Pakistani government – and by extension Western governments – is an offence against ‘Islamic’ revivalism, is both morally and religiously bankrupt!

Here’s an interesting snippet from an article on the Pakistan’s public reaction to the presence of the Taliban in Swat. Shows just how how delusional Hizbut Tahrir is on this issue.
In a recent poll 74% of people polled said that extremism was a major problem in the country, up 11% from a year and a half ago. 80% said they supported the peace deal in Swat, but that was before the militant incursions into Buner and other districts adjacent to Swat.
This is a huge turnaround from several years ago, when the war was viewed as being fought largely on behalf of the U.S. and as detrimental to Pakistani interests. Two years ago, when the army took on militants hiding out in Islamabad’s Red Mosque, (former President) Musharraf’s approval rating fell by 10% or more. Most people were opposed to the action and said the Army’s conduct of the operation was unacceptable. But the militants violent actions and apparent hubris in thinking they could break the recent peace deal with impunity has put paid to opinions like that.
Usual predictable nonsense from HT and Taji Mustafa who needs to take one visit to the Arab world and realise who black people are treated, that may make him think twice about the unity of the Ummah. As much as I despise him Zardari is a democratically elected leader and not simply a Western puppet. The people of Pakistan fully support the war against the barbarians in SWAT and have sought foreign aid to help the war effort.
The HT ability to spin events beyond recognition never ceases to fascinate and humour me, no wonder so many members leave with bad memories.

I completely agree with you – these HTers just need to go backpacking through ‘Muslim lands’ and see how united they really are over there! Not that I’m condoning such treatment, but they seriously need to wake up and face reality.
I’m prepared to personally pay for HT’s UK leadership to go and live in Taliban controlled areas of Pakistan. I’m sure after a few of these jokers get some lashes they’ll soon come running back.
Remember how that great lion of jihad Omar Bakri begged the British Navy to save him after Israel bombed Lebanon in 2006? What happened to all his Billy big nuts talk then? These guys are a joke!

I saw Majid Nawaz Sahib, and I swear by God who is political, that I saw him sit down and be surrounded by Sahabah like men of Khilafat movement, who then talked Khilafat to him and told him that Allah was political. Majid Nawaz sahib, who took offence to being preached Islam, because he is a kafir who hates Islam more than sahaba-like men of Khilafat movement love death, then stood up and asked to be introduced to the leader of the Khilafat movement so he could invade his private space by expressing the peace greetings which was clearly the shaytans attempt at making the Khilafat leader weak in his eman by making him soft on Kufr and the Kafirs by forcing him to say salam to the shaytan. This plan was to make the Sahaba like men weak in their eman by showing that shaytan is a muslim, to make them become kafirs, so the supreme Islamic fist had to save muslims from this life and death matter by declaring noble jihad on Majid Sahib.
So Majid Sahib stood and held his hand out to make peace between sahaba-like men and him, but no peace and no compromise with Israel was shouted out, and Khilafat men declared the noble jihad against Majids kufr attempt at compromising Islam by trying to make peace with the islam and the kufr.
But even then see how Sahaba like Khilafat man was patient, he still didnt hitted Majid Sahib until the kufr was clear and the hujjat was established upon him. Then he stood up and warned Majid Sahib, who still hand his hand out in serious trying to compromise islam by make peace with Islam and kufr, which is insult to all muslims in the world. So Sahaba like man tried to show nobility of islam and patience by walking away from this kufr, but Majid Sahab was so insisting on making peace when war is the only option for Israel that he walked onto the pure and paak supreme islamic fist that was extended outwards only to say to Majid Sahib that we muslim are peacful, here, look at my fist, it is only used to tickle your chin for charity purpose. But Majid Sahib was so impatient in his kufr that he walked very fast into Sahabi fist and was so drunk on his alcohol that he must drink because all kafirs drink it, that he fell over the sofa backwards, but even this was a shaytan trick because Majid Sahibs plan was to kick Sahabi man with his leg when he pretended to fell backward, but he missed and fell. So Majid Sahib got up again and insisted on his kufr greeting of peace, so Sahabi man, decided that it is not good for islam to be violent, but kufr is violent and we will show the world that islam is peace, so he left the cafe shop in peace, and was proud that he made no compromise and peace with the kufr.

You mention Hizb, i say they are peaceful, only Israeli consipracy makes kafirs like Majid Sahib walk into their fists. I tell you… it is to make it look like Muslims are violent, when actually, kafirs have plan to make peace with Israel, which begins with stretching out hand for peace with Hizb members. So no compromise with peace.
But thanks God, our Islam has solution for all of lifes problem. Islamic solution against this peace conspiracy of salam greetings is to ban saying salam to each other in Khilafat, which we will punish by lashings. Because sayings of salam stops return of khilafat, and khilafat must prioritize over all other farz (duty), so if they clash, khilafat is priority. So we now announce ban on salam greetings so that no kafir can trick us into peace with Israel by saying salam to us, like Majid Sahib tried.

Indeed you have correctly cited that an increasing majority of the Pakistani people are concrned about terrorism as the biggest problem, but my dear brother, those same people also know that the perpetrators of this terrorism is the US and its stooges in Pakistan which have periodically changed their names from Nawaz Shareef to Musharraf to Zardari. You must have just walked out of <> to be saying that after all Zardari is a democratically ‘elected’ president. Ha! What could be further form truth; he is sitting in the President’s House because of a deal that he struck with the masters of Musharraf and now does just the same.
