A member of Muhajiroun trying to enforce segregation earlier today
Well, the debate between Douglas Murray and Anjem “Andy” Choudary was scheduled to take place tonight in Conway Hall, Holborn.
The whole thing was a set up. A press release from the Centre for Social Cohesion explains:
Al-Muhajiroun hijacked the debate, ‘Sharia law vs British law’, which was organised by a student society. Members of the radical organisation responsible for the Luton protests took over the debate: the SIA – licensed security guards were al-Muhajiroun and members of the group attempted to intimidate and segregate the audience…The security guards were members of al-Muhajiroun. The student society had neglected to mention that the event would be segregated. The society’s “independent chair” was involved in the assault. It soon became clear that the student society was, if not a front group for al-Muhajiroun, then at least Islamist-sympathisers hijacked by the extremist group.
Oh dear. One member of the public refused to be segregated and was assaulted by al-Muhajiroun’s goons. Here’s his take on events (names have been removed):
I turned up with [names of others]We walked in [men and women together]They [Muhajiroun] said“women upstairs”.I said“No we’re going to sit together”.They said we could not.The guy who runs the hall was summonedHe said:You cannot have a gender segregated meeting. You will either let women in or this is cancelledand I will call the police. They said“It is our meeting”I walked in [to the 'male area'] with [a female]They grabbed me and dragged me outI offered no resistancebut I said repeatedly:You must not touch meI will report this to the policeThe police arrivedI reported itWe went to look for the men who had assaulted meBut they had done a runner.

Enforcing segregation?
In the past a Muhajiroun female would give a Muhajiroun male 1p before she jumped into his car – apparently this was ok according to Bakri. Becasue the female had paid a fee to the male his car was no longer considered as private space and so Islamically it was allowed for her to be in it alone with the him…lol
I’m sure these jokers could have come out with some creative way to get around the segregation issue as well but instead they resorted to violence…. oh I forgot the great ‘Bakri’ is in Lebanon! no one else around to give comical islamic opinions!
It won’t be long before they are banned…leave them to it!
Bunch of Muppets!
Only a wretchedly bigoted xenophobic racist Islamophobe would suggest that these ghastly people would be MUCH happier in a vile Trashkanistan.
If they could find one with social housing and the prospect of living in indolence on benefit fraud, that is.
You guys at Spittoon need to deal with these silly, sex-crazed comments from these Islamist losers. It is dragging down the quality of the site…
Its funny how these guys think that all women want to do is throw themselves at them…when actually they are quite angry that they get absolutely no attention from the opposite sex
There’s nothing worth responding to in these silly comments – but by leaving them up we show the calibre of individual we’re dealing with. This sad, sex-starved fool is doing our work for us.
Your right George – he is doing a fantastic job of revealing the mindset of Islamist types, sex-obsessed, braindead, hate filled and just generally losers in life who just don’t know what else to do. Keep it up plonker.
Oh, and George. Let’s not let everyone know that the reason we hate them is because they indulge in heterosexual sex.
We, on the other hand, are homosexual sex-obsessed brain-dead and hate filled for heterosexuals. Isn’t that right, Satan?
Let’s also not let everyone know the common fact that Simon Keeler is still in prison; yet us professional bullshitters made a blunder in saying he was at the event.
It’s ashame we’re such dickheads. We should take lesson from the Islamists on how not to be.
The Administrator had to change the name to “Al-Moohajiroon member” to counter me? LOL. You know what that means. I win.
When you start editing your opponent’s posts; that clearly means you lose.
When you use the names of writers of this blog or use someones “Mum” as the name of the sender then it shows you are a liar and a fraud. It then becomes my personal obligation to change the name.
I have not changed any of your comments content, only the name, when you use a writer’s name. The offensive and depraved nature of the content says more about you and your organisation than we ever could.
My comment on the whole fiasco last night:

Wa s-salam, Yahya
For anyone who’s not read it yet, I can heartily recommend the comment thread for ‘Anjem Choudary’s 1st appearance as UK head of al-Muhajiroun’. One of the funniest examples of Islamist nonsense I’ve seen in ages.
So to provide an answer to Shikwa’s (albeit rhetorical) question, ‘why aren’t Muhajiroun banned?’ – frankly the oxygen of publicity gives them a first class opportunity to show how absurd they really are….think of OBM as the sixth Marx brother if you like.
Yayha,
Just read you blog, there are a couple of issues:
1) GIS HAVE had events with non Al-Muhajiroun members
2) Banning Al-Muhajiroun can work, and not banning them just sends the message that the government thinks that their views are perfectly legal. The only way the government will pay attention is if people can get AM back on the radar and pressure the government to ban them
3) You cannot simply ignore an organisation that has such strong links with terrorism convictions in the UK, that is irresponsible
4) AM will hardly ever appear on neutral platforms, that was made 100% clear yesterday. They will usually refuse invitations to neutral debates.
5) There are a lot of people who have had enough of these thugs intimidating people in their own country, and it was about time there was an organised, peaceful yet firm statement of ‘we are not taking this anymore, we will challenge you on your own turf’
6)Apart from suggesting that they are debated on a neutral platform, which is unlikely, you havent really offered any good suggestions as to how to deal with AM
“Great Satan”
1. Are you suggesting GIS is not a front org. for AM? The evidence strongly suggests that it is. Can you provide links to events they’ve held without AM reps or associates? If so, I’ll investigate and happily amend the blog if necessary, but on the evidence of last night it would take a lot to change my mind that they are anything other than a front.
2. Banning them in the past under their various guises doesn’t seem to have curtailed their activities in the slightest, whch doesn’t necessarily mean that they shouldn’t be banned, but it’s not an argument for effectiveness as such is it?
3. Nowhere did I suggest they should be ignored. But I don’t see any virtue in promoting their deliberate provocations.
4. For a subtantive debate that attempts to take them apart, the right conditions are needed — those conditions don’t include letting them get away with a ridiculous set up like last night’s. They may indeed, however, refuse to engage in a neutral platform — but why not try it out?
5. You’re suggesting a peaceful show of protest at events they put on. I’m not averse to that with as wide a coalition as possible, but let’s debate the pros and cons of that. It’s obviously a different strategy to a substantive debate.
6. Yes, that’s why I ended the piece with an appeal for good ideas. I’m open to suggestions. I don’t think this is an easy problem to solve effectively.
1. Good point – which other events have they done? Or is it simply the case that they claimed not to be al-Muhajiroun, when at least now for certain we know they are/it is, though it may have been suspected to be al-Muhajiroun before yesterday…
2. Banning is not a solution but a moral and practical imperitive. It is obvious that they should be banned, as it is self evident that people advocating anything illegal should be. Unless they are advocating a change in the law, which is a different matter, but advocating terror is not quite the same thing. On it’s own it is not a solution, but additional measures may help prevent them “RE-EMERGING”, charges should be brought against people violating such laws and belonging to such organisations or active involvement within them. Banning has many other advantages of preventing them advocating their “ideas” legitimately etc. It hinders them if nothing else.
3. I do not think that is a genuine response – their deliberate provocations need to be addressed and the issue here is surely then how and not whether they should be addressed. Maybe you were originally unclear and gave that impression.
4. No one let them get away with last night – you are making an irrelevant statement there – if it was neatral with an academic and neatral chair as claimed then it wouldn’t have been a problem by your criteria – but obviously it wasn’t; but are you saying DM et-al should have known? This is a different point…
5. Agreed. I would like to add though there is little point in having a braod coalition if other facists are involved who also advocate terrorism e.g. Hamas suppoters etc. I am sure you catch my drift…
6. Unfair; allow Yahya to suggest and discuss how to develop an effective strategy beforesaying he hasn’t – as I am not sure last night was necessarilly an “effective strategy” though actually highlighting their activities, highlighting their front group/s, demonstrating them as nutters to some of the neatral folk, callling for a ban through public pressure and demonstrating that there are people who will stand upo for our societal principles and the rule of law was not all bad surely…
Yahya
GIS is indeed an AM front, but from what I can see, that only became 100% confirmed on the actual night of the event
Banning them has curtailed their activities, they only really became resurgent after Luton. Banning them also helps when one is trying to put their members behind bars, as was the case with Izzadeen (though he went down for terror financing and incitement, his membership of a proscribed group helped to secure a conviction). Under the terrorism act, one can be convicted simply for being a member of a proscribed group. Thus if we were to ban AM now, Choudary would find himself in trouble, as he know calls himself the head of AM. He will either have to renounce this (which wont exacly fill his followers with pride for their leader) or face the consequences of being the leader of a proscribed organisation.
Also, there has been a clear attempt by some HT/AM Islamist nuts to flood this site with silly and insulting comments. Every time i think of them, this is how i imagine they look:

Spittoon Annihilator
that one was for you and all your buddies (assuming you are not just one loser, but in fact a team of losers)
Here we go again the obsession with sex and genitalia, it is unfailing! You literally can think of nothing else can you? Its so sad..
