How to win votes and influence people

By following two simple rules:

1) Invoke the “Eternal punishment of Allah” on people if they don’t vote for you:

2) Out-Muslim and out-Pakistani your Muslim opponent by claiming not to drink alcohol and insinuate the other guy is a lesser Muslim and unfit for public office because he might.

“Let me point out to all the Muslim brothers and sisters what I stand for. I, George Galloway, do not drink alcohol and never have. Ask yourself if the other candidate [the Labour candidate, Imran Hussain] in this election can say that truthfully. I, George Galloway, have fought for the Muslims at home and abroad, all my life, and paid a price for it. I, George Galloway, hold Pakistan’s highest civil awards.”

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRespect! Praise be to Allah!

Strange tactic. But its good to have a bit of anti-imperialism in parliament.
I hope Salma Yaqoob finally breaks through in Birmingham and that party can grow a bit more mature and take on the postitive elements of her character.

That labour man shouldnt have said ‘vote for me im pakistani muslim’ if he drank.

Drinking is generally frowned upon in Islamic teachings, not a headliner pillar of faith, more an embodied tradition we reject because it isnt helpful overall. It was displaced in stages.

    Shame on you fools.

The world is now witnessing that when the Muslim Ummah gets an opportunity to vote for a representative, they vote for the person that best represents their religious interests. George Galloway is not an Islamist. But he is pursuing an Islamist agenda.

For too long now, people on this website and along with other similar extremist hate filled sites have tried to discredit “Islamists” and “political Islam”. You have stated on many occasions how “the masses don’t want Islamism or the political aspects of Islam”.
Well the masses are speaking now all over the Muslim world. For sure the Arab Spring was lead by small nationalist groups (that were on the fringes). The governments at the time gave these secular groups a space, thinking that these groups would ultimately push their agenda. But even these groups were fed up of their brutal rule and so sparked a flame that lit up their respective country. Once the brutal governments fell, the sincere Islamists, tortured for decades yet working amongst the grass roots for decades, were able to surface and organise resulting in the Ummah embracing them and projecting them to power.

This is the case for Libya, Tunisia, Egypt and soon Syria. The Salafist’s, despised by your website, are gaining huge traction along with the Muslim Brotherhood, Hizb e tahrir and countless other groups who are now sharing platforms to achieve the same aim of making Shari’ah and executive shura based adoption of interpreted Islamic sources of Jurisprudence the basis for rule of law.
Ultimately this will lead to the rise of the Islamic state, once institutions are created which respect the Islamic rule of law by empowering the scholars, as mentioned in Noah Feldman’s “The fall and rise of the Islamic State” , to interpret the law and put measures in place to account the government.

It is now a matter of time. You have lost the argument as the Muslim world has spoken!

    Shame on you all.

Where I live at Trinty Green just off the Mile End Road London E1, I feel threatened by Muslims whenever I go outside the gates of my address. I am a single man and retired and just going to the off licence has to be conducted like a raid behind enemy lines. When Blair removed the right of British citizens to bear arms he gave the green flag for Muslims to threaten the British way of life.
Anybody else out there that feels threatened you are welcome to call round for a chat and a drink.

How? What would have bearing arms done? If you can do it so can the other guy. And he might just have a bigger gun than yours.

Not bearing arms – the logic works. At least there is no possibility of people shooting each other.

“I feel threatened by Muslims whenever I go outside the gates of my address.”

So no one has actually threatened you… the problem lies with you. Why don’t you go over to them and say hello… see if anyone bites!

Whatever one may think of Galloway, the question he poses in this video clip is a legitimate one:

How can a person explain their support for the Iraq invasion-occupation, especially in light of the holocaust-proportion consequences?

Tell me Abdul Bari am I incorrect in labelling Islam a supremacist ,totalitarian, fascist death cult created by an illiterate sociopathic desert fleabag?
Islam is starting to get up everybody’s nose so it won’t be long before the re-establishment of freedom of speech will result in some great pisstaking of Mo the arsehole and imaginary

Rippon uses the word ‘Holocaust’ a little too freely.

The vast majority of Iraqi casualties are internecine.

    ‘holocaust’ refers to scale.

There’s well over a million Iraqis who are now dead as a consequence of the invasion-occupation; that is, Iraqis who would be alive if the allies had not committed the “supreme” war-crime of aggression against another state.

My use of ‘holocaust’ is not “too freely” at all. If the deaths count was around fifty thousand, then ‘holocaust’ would indeed be a flawed characterisation. It’s not clear how large a number has to be to qualify for ‘holocaust’ – one hundred thousand? five hundred thousand?

But it is clear that one million definitely qualifies for ‘holocaust’ because it is indeed a massive number.

Galloway isn’t the first Western actor to exploit Islamic extremism to shore up a political power base and he certainly won’t be the last. The British Empire has used it to perfection ever since the the 18th century in Mughal India, and the poor blighters are still suckers for it to this day.
